Books to Prisons serves incarcerated persons in Alabama and Texas. Our Mission is to affirm each inmate’s enduring worth and promise through person-to￾person fulfillments of requests for books that may enlighten, engage, or comfort them. We believe that personal responses and the books we provide can serve as continuing reminders that their minds and spirits need not be imprisoned by the walls surrounding them, and that they still have a stake in the world.
