Monetary Donations
Books are sent to incarcerated individuals. Constant donations are needed to continue assisting individuals throughout their rehabilitation. We accept a wide variety of
new and used books, excluding those
involving nudity, violence or true crime.
You can make a difference! See below for more details on the type of books we accept.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Along with book donations, we are also looking for monetary donations to ensure that we can provide the desired books for inmates. Incarcerated individuals do not have the freedom to go out themselves and buy books, and reading provides these individuals with the ability to educate themselves in ways they would not be able to otherwise.
Books to Prisons Accepts the Following Books:
Books in good condition. This includes:

clean, gently used books

books with no stains

NO watermarks

no loose pages or tears

minimal highlighting and note
All genres, except true crime, erotica, and children's books.
(Books may NOT have spiral binding or maps of Texas)
